Insurance

Sleep Insights accepts all types of health insurance. We will contact your insurer for you to determine whether our services would be covered by your particular plan, and we will work with your referring physicians to provide the testing they have requested. If you do not have health insurance or your coverage is limited with regard to our care, we will provide you with a clear and reasonable fee schedule. We are also pleased to work with other sleep centers to ensure that your sleep testing is affordable and your treatment is best suited to your needs.

What To Expect

The concept is simple: if you are comfortable and relaxed, you'll sleep better, and we will get the best idea of what is disturbing your sleep.

You arrive to find a bright space with a friendly staff. You won't be waiting long, but you can pass the time in our lounge by reviewing information about sleep in written packets or on the computer. Perhaps you'd prefer to simply unwind from your busy schedule with a magazine, book or by watching TV. You are offered a refreshment to quench your thirst. The office personnel is pleased to chat. The clinicians greet you in the waiting room (and nobody is wearing a white coat).

Once in a private exam room, your evaluation is explained, and the recommendations are clear before you leave. You are welcome to stay and learn more in our resource center. If you are scheduled for a sleep study, you will be given a tour of our state-of-the-art testing facility, and then you will be shown to your bedroom. You walk into the bedroom and close the door. The first thing you’ll notice is silence, because each room has been insulated from sound. The room is spacious, and the furnishings remind you of a nice hotel. The queen-sized bed has a memory foam mattress, and when you sit down, you feel like you could sink in for a snooze. The private bathroom is roomy as well, and includes the area where the technologists will get you prepped for your study. Once you’re fitted with the sensors, you can stay in the bedroom reading in a chair, or retiring to the bed and its luxurious sheets to nestle down and watch TV. You may also choose to explore the common area in the robe we provide, finding a refreshment or snack in the patient lounge. You may also take advantage of our high-speed internet, read the paper, or just relax and watch TV. Two of our rooms have a comfortable bed for a spouse, caretaker, or parent, so you don't have to be alone.

During the night, our technologists will make every effort to ensure your comfort and enhance your sleep, and they will gently awaken you in the morning. After the testing equipment is removed you will be able to take a relaxed, warm shower and prepare for your day. You'll be pleased to find a continental breakfast and the morning’s newspaper waiting for you in the patient lounge.

At your follow up appointment, you will receive your sleep study results and have an opportunity to ask our physicians any questions that you may have regarding your sleep study.
