Scott Blodgett, R.EEG T., RPSGT, Chief Operating Officer

Scott Blodgett, a registered Electroencephalographic Technologist (R.EEG T.), and Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), has dedicated his life to healthcare. Mr. Blodgett started his career as a Technologist in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Following the ICU, he worked in the area of neurology at the University of Rochester Strong Epilepsy Center,  learning a variety of neurodiagnostic tests, and caring for patients with epilepsy and other neurological disorders.  It was there where he first met Dr. Kenneth Plotkin, and a friendship, and later business partnership was born.

Mr. Blodgett is a member of the American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists (ASET), where he serves on the Governmental Advocacy Committee. He is also a member of The American Association of Sleep Technologists (AAST), the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).  Mr. Blodgett  lectures nationally on the topics of customer service, professional development, and technical excellence. 

As Chief Operating Officer of Sleep Insights, Mr. Blodgett oversees all technical and logistical aspects of  their locations. He  is dedicated to continually raising the bar of patient care, while promoting the highest level of technical expertise of his staff.
