Jeffrey O. Dann, President

Mr. Dann is an experienced business and healthcare executive with over 25 years in the medical industry.  He graduated from Niagara University in 1974 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.  Mr. Dann spent the first eight years of his career serving as one of four national healthcare management experts for the international accounting firm, Price Waterhouse/Coopers.  In 1978 he became a licensed CPA in New York State. 

Mr. Dann’s past experience includes executive positions and ownership of several startup businesses including medical billing, medical transcription, mobile imaging, sleep testing labs and most recently the commercialization of a life sciences firm involving telemedicine-based infertility testing.  He has also been a medical practice administrator and executive director of several medical practices including the DENT Neurologic Institute.  Additionally, he worked for several years as a vice president of a Buffalo-based leverage buy-out/investment banking firm – Strategic Holdings and Investments, Inc.

Mr. Dann is an active member of several trades and medical society associations including BRAINS (Business and Research Administrator in Neurology Society) of the American Academy of Neurology.  He has been a member of the nation’s largest trade association of medical practice executives, the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), since the 1975.  Mr. Dann has also served in a number of leadership positions including President of the New York State MGMA chapter.  In 2004, he became a Fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE), an affiliate organization to MGMA.
